It’s been almost 5 months since a Crossover Global church planter reached the Eastern Himalayan river valley to share the Gospel with the people who lived there.
While sharing the Gospel, the church planter met a woman who was acting in a very erratic manner. She was completely mentally unwell, shouting explicit words on the road, expressing very abnormal activities and inhumane demonic behaviors. The villagers reported that this woman had been suffering from this problem for many months.
The church planter, along with the church team, visited the woman’s house and shared the Gospel with her family. They learned that the family had done everything they knew to do to help her. They loved her and wanted to see her well, spending their money on natural medicine doctors, hospital visits, and following all the Buddhist and Hindu religious rituals, but were left empty.

Every day the woman would move from one place to another throughout the village, shouting obscenities and expressing demonic activities. The villagers were all afraid. No one dared engage with her. She was left to suffer alone.
But God gave the church planter and the team strength and boldness to reach out to the woman. They started with simple, casual conversations. The church also started fasting and praying once a week specifically for her healing. After regular visits, the team began sharing the Gospel with her. Gradually, the team started to see changes in her mental health and other behaviors, and she began attending church.

In June of 2026, Anjali, the woman with no hope, became a follower of Jesus. Her life is totally changed now. Her fits of obscenities have stopped. Her demonic behavior has ceased.
The church is praying that her faith in Jesus Christ will grow stronger and stronger with each passing day and that her powerful transformation will be a witness to her family and other villagers of the power of the One true God. Their prayer is that Anjali’s family will become followers of Jesus and together they will establish a new house church in the community.
Will you please join them in prayer?
